  ျမင္သည္။
    After six years of blindness, he
    found he could see.   ေျခာက္ႏွစ္ၾကာမ်က္စိကြယ္   ခဲ့ျပီးေနာက္မွသူမ်က္စိ   ျပန္လည္အလင္းရသည္။
2. to be aware of by means of the eye:
  ျမင္သည္။
    I can see her in the garden.
  သူ႕ကို ဥယ်ာဥ္ထဲမွာျမင္ရသည္။
3. to look at: ၾကည့္သည္။
    Did you see that play on television?
  ႐ုပ္ျမင္သံၾကားမွာ အဲဒီျပဇာတ္   မင္းၾကည့္လိုက္ရဲ႕လား။ 4. to have a picture in the mind:
  စိတ္အာ႐ံုတြင္ ျမင္ေယာင္သည္။
    I see many difficulties ahead.
  ၾကံဳရမယ့္အခက္အခဲေတြကို   ကၽြန္ေတာ္ျမင္ေယာင္ေနတယ္။
5. to understand:
  နားလည္သေဘာေပါက္သည္။  
    She didn't see the point of the joke.
  ဒီျပက္လံုးရဲ႕ ဆိုလိုခ်က္ကို   သူသေဘာမေပါက္ဘူး။
6. to investigate:
  ေလ့လာၾကည့္သည္။

    I can do for you.   ထားခဲ့ပါ။ကၽြန္ေတာ္ၾကည့္ျပီး   လုပ္ႏိုင္တာ လုပ္ေပးပါ့မယ္။
7 . to meet:

    until the end is reached:   အဆံုးတိုင္ေအာင္   ကူညီေဆာင္ရြက္ေပးသည္။
    You'll have a difficult time, but I'll
    see you safely through.   မင္းအခက္အခဲေတာ့ရွိမယ္။   ဒါေပမဲ့ ငါမင္းကိုေရဆံုး   ေျမဆံုး ပို႕ေပးပါ့မယ္။
2.  not to be deceived by (a person, trick etc):
  လွည့္ကြက္၊ ေျခလွမ္းစသည္ကို   သိသည္။
    We soon saw through him and his
    little plan.
  သူ႕သေဘာသကန္နဲ႕ ဆန္ေကာ   ေလာက္မွေဇာက္မနက္တဲ့   အၾကံကို ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႕မၾကာခင္   ရိပ္စားမိၾကပါတယ္။
    see to to attend to or deal with:
  လုပ္ကိုင္ေပးသည္။  
    I must see to the  baby.
  ကေလးကို ကၽြန္မသြားၾကည့္   လိုက္ဦးမယ္။
    I, we etc will see, I, we etc shall wait and
    consider the matter later:   ၾကည့္ေသးတာေပါ့။
    'May I have a new bicycle?' 'We'll see.'
  ‘‘ကၽြန္ေတာ္စက္ဘီးအသစ္တစ္စီး   လိုခ်င္တယ္။’’   ‘‘ၾကည့္ေသးတာေပါ့။‘’
    Note: see can be used both literally and
              metaphorically: see
       ကို ပကတိျမင္ရျခင္း        အတြက္ သံုးသကဲ့သို႕        စိတ္အျမင္ျဖင့္ေတြးထင္ျခင္း၊        သေဘာေပါက္ျခင္းစသည္        တင္စား၍လည္း သံုးသည္။
              He can't see very well without his
              glasses. (i.e. His eyesight is poor);
       မ်က္မွန္မပါဘဲ သူ        ေကာင္းစြာမျမင္ႏိုင္ေပ။
              He didn't see me at the airport.
              (i.e. He didn't notice me):
       ကၽြန္ေတာ့္ကိုေလဆိပ္မွာ        သတိမျပဳမိလိုက္ဘူး။
              Can you see the point I'm making?
              (Can you understand?)
       ငါေျပာေနတဲ့အခ်က္ကို        မင္းနားလည္သလား။
              He sees things differently from us.
              (His perceptions are different).
       သူ႕အျမင္နဲ႕တို႕အျမင္ကြာတယ္။
    Note: Do not confuse see with watch:
              see ႏွင့္
              watch ကိုမေရာေထြးမိ        ပါေစႏွင့္။
              Did you watch TV last night?
       ညက႐ုပ္ျမင္သံၾကား        ၾကည့္သလား။
              (Note that you do not use see in this
              context.); Watch out for cars!
              (Look out for cars)        ကားသတိထား။
              Someone has to watch the child while
              its mother is away. (Look after)
       ကေလးအေမမရွိတုန္း        တစ္ေယာက္ေယာက္က        ကေလးကို ၾကည့္ထား        ဖို႕လိုတယ္။
              Watch me carefully. (Observe me
              closely).        ငါလုပ္တာေသေသ        ခ်ာခ်ာၾကည့္။
