I am very upset. Someone told my mother I have a girlfriend. 

စိတ္တိုတယ္ကြာ။ငါ့မွာ ရည္းစားရွိတာ အေမ့ကိုတစ္ေယာက္ေယာက္က ေျပာလိုက္တယ္။

And she doesn't like that?

ဒီေတာ့ မင့္အေမက အဲဒါကို သေဘာမက်လို႔လား။

She thinks that I am very young. 

သူက ငါ့ကို ငယ္ေသးတယ္ ထင္ေနတာ။

I am sorry. I have to admit I told her. 

ေဆာရီးပါကြာ။မင့္အေမကို ငါေျပာလိုက္တာလို႔ ဝန္ခံပါတယ္။

You told her? Why?

မင္းေျပာလိုက္တာ ဟုတ္လား၊ဘာျဖစ္လို႔ ေျပာလိုက္တာလဲ။

Why are you so silent? Say something. 

ဘာျဖစ္လို႔ ျငိမ္ေနရတာလဲ။တစ္ခုခု ေျပာဦးေလ။

 I couldn't help it. She asked me point-blank. 

ဘယ္လိုမွ မတတ္နိဳင္ဘူး။ငါ့ကို တဲ့တိုးႀကီး ေမးတာေလ။
